Game Intern

An opportunity to make your mark on a commercially released game and have a takeaway professional experience that will set you up well for your future career in game development.

  • An exciting 3-4 month paid internship position for an aspiring game developer who is a graduate, student or professional wanting to get into the game industry.
  • Requires a committed and sharp individual, wanting to learn, understand and get involved in the cycle of game development.
  • Potential to become a long term position.


There’s a small list of ideal requirements:

  • Ideally some experience with Unity3d and/or making a game.
  • Either from a programming or 2d/3d art background, with relevant experience or education in one/both of these areas.
  • Plays games, passionate about games, wants to make a game.
  • Major plus if some professional experience in a creative industry already.
  • Other skills/hobbies/passions in creative fields welcomed.



2d/3d Artist

  • Expert level modelling/texturing in Maya and/or 3ds Max
  • Comprehensive photoshop experience
  • Ideally working experience with Mudbox/Z-Brush
  • Comfortable working on objects, environments, creatures & hand painted textures.
  • Practical knowledge of game engines, ideally Unity, but any others are a plus.
  • Demonstrate ability with high quality/low poly assets & high quality/high poly assets.

Major pluses:

  • Experience in animation, rendering, lighting, After Effects and Illustrator would be beneficial.
  • Portfolio work that features strong character/cartoon focus a huge plus.


Game Programmer (contract)

  • 2+ years experience working within the video games industry
  • At least 1 shipped game on any platform (mobile games a plus)
  • Excellent knowledge of Unity3d and C#
  • Practical experience of Xcode, Android NDK, Objective-C and C++
  • Strong software architecture skills
  • Strong game related maths skills (vectors, matrices, quaternions etc)
  • Solid understanding of the graphics pipeline
  • Experience with graphics profiling and debugging tools.
  • Proactive attitude towards developing and pushing the quality of our games.
  • A philosophy of collaboration and openness with all team members.
  • The ability to be creative whilst adhering to any practical or technical constraints.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for games

Major pluses:

  • Graphics techniques and effects using vertex/pixel shaders
  • Experience working on mobile monetisation/UI systems
  • Experience of networking in gaming applications


Animator (contract/freelance)

  • Expert character animation skills.
  • Expert key frame animation skills.
  • Experience in using 3ds Max or Maya and other related software.
  • Practical knowledge of rigging and weighting character models and objects.
  • Can demonstrate ability to produce high quality/low poly model animation.
  • Can demonstrate ability to produce high quality/high poly model animation.
  • Ideally experience of Photoshop, Flash CS4/CS6.
